The police have confirmed that the victim was 79-year-old Carol Jane Sturgis.

[Moses] Trotter is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday on murder charges.
He has a lengthy criminal past dating back to 1999. His convictions range from grand theft to robbery, vehicle theft to assault-and-battery, and resisting arrest.
Neighbors described Sturgis as being the kindest person they knew. She was wellknown for taking care of people and pets in the area and lived in her home for more than 40 years. ”She took care of everybody around here,” said neighbor and friend Jim Blom. “Their animals, the cats and took my garbage cans in at night – every night for years.”

Police arrested a naked and blood covered black savage, Moses Trotter outside an elderly woman’s home in Fair Oaks, California on Sunday night and charged him with her murder. Police say it was a “savage” attack and they said the victim, who was in her 8os, was a stranger to Trotter. An area resident told reporters that the neighborhood is a very low crime neighborhood where people often leave their doors unlocked.
There is not yet a report on the race of the victim, however, the neighborhood, coupled with the viciousness of the crime, leads one to logically conclude that the victim is non-black. It is common knowledge that black murderers are often especially brutal when killing a non-black person.
Deputies arrived at the house on Olympic Way around 7:30 p.m. and the man ran out of the property naked and covered in blood, said Ramos.
The naked man was taken into custody and deputies entered the Olympic Way property to investigate. Once inside, deputies discovered a woman in her 80′s, dead from an apparent savage attack, Ramos said.
The suspected killer, later identified as 32-year-old Moses Trotter, was booked into jail on a charge of homicide
