Learn to Love It!

Hey, man! What's your problem, man!

In an opinion piece from the Washington Post, the writer counsels the baby boomer generation to “get with the times” and change their attitudes on the current federal policy of importing a new people. Boomers, scolds the writer, are not trying hard enough to love their displacement and, as a result are not sufficiently embracing their replacements.

Unless the writer is deranged, improbably ignorant on the subject, or simply evil, it is impossible for him to be unaware that what he is saying is absurd. Since he obviously agrees with the displacement of the historical majority white people of America, he should state his position clearly, and give reasonable arguments attempting to convert those not in agreement. However, he does not do that. He acts as though it should be taken for granted that the replacing of a people is a good thing, as he condescendingly chastises those who would disagree. It is the most basic of logic that supports the position that those to be displaced need not explain why they are not in favor of such displacement. A man seeing his country transformed demographically through mass immigration is not bound to explain the logic in his viewing this transformation as a negative outcome. However, the man supporting this transformation is bound to explain, and prove to those whose nation is to be transformed that the benefits of such change outweigh the negatives.

It is this diverse youth population that the largely white baby boomers will rely upon in their retirement years to keep paying into Social Security and Medicare.

The Left is openly advocating the selling of American citizenship to third world immigrants in exchange for maximum government benefits for current American citizens. Many Americans debate the mechanisms (private volunteer aid vs public local/state aid) for assisting  the young, the old, and the truly infirm (one vote here for the private volunteer aid method). The debate is also over what level of help may be required, and who truly requires such help. The American Left, on the other hand, is not interested in that debate. They want every last American citizen, regardless of income or assets, to enter old age with each person receiving the same government-provided social safety net as his neighbor, including a much expanded system of health insurance/services. Rest assured, the Left will want even more benefits in the future;  i.e., housing, transportation, internet/computers, clothing, increased food allowances etc. The financial need of each citizen, or lack thereof, is of no interest to the Left. Their position is to trade citizenship to a vast multitude of non-western immigrants in exchange for payroll taxes to (hopefully) be paid into the federal government by a few of those immigrants, so that Americans, rich or poor, can all receive a plethora of government aid services. What ultimately makes it possible for the Leftists in American to truly desire such an evil bargain is a desire for power and a shared hatred of America, her historic white majority and their substantial history.

Yet a Pew Research Center survey published in November showed only 23 percent of baby boomers regard the country’s growing population of immigrants as a change for the better. Forty-three percent saw it as a change for the worse. Almost half of white boomers said the growing number of newcomers from other countries represented a threat to traditional U.S. customs and values.

The writer is saying that 77% of baby boomers are racist.

Older whites in general tend to be less favorable to more government programs, except Social Security, a significant change from their views in the late 1980s. Nowadays, younger minorities hold the views that boomers used to have, supporting government programs they see as important for their upward mobility.

Here, the argument is that some older white Americans concerns are more self-centered. On that point, it is hard to dispute the writer’s assessment. The question is how many older white Americans would vote (directly via ballot) for mass third world immigration in order to enjoy universal government retirement benefits? Almost certainly, a majority would vote against such a proposition.

Conversely, younger Americans’ support for government programs is of a more idealistic nature. Such idealism, to a certain extent, is to be expected of the young. Winston Churchill’s famous (and oft quoted) words still apply today. Churchill said, “Show me a young Conservative and I’ll show you someone with no heart. Show me an old Liberal and I’ll show you someone with no brains”. The part about the young people is somewhat overstated, but the quote is very instructive on this point.

The contributions these people make will depend heavily on the opportunities they receive, particularly through education. Barriers are especially challenging for many minority children with talent and high aspirations, who continue to attend segregated, underfunded school systems. Currently, high school dropout rates for Hispanics are more than twice as high as those of non-Hispanic whites. More than a third of Hispanic and black children live in poverty.

This is what the Left always says: throw more money at government programs when there is an inequality of outcomes. The Washington Post writer even sees a problem with the natural geographical segregation of America’s schools. Perhaps he would prefer a new system of forced busing, and since segregation is an ultimate evil to the Left, most Leftists would probably agree. Urban (predominately white) flight has expanded the average city’s metropolitan geographical area dramatically in the past four plus decades. In many instances, it would require the busing of white students an extreme distance from their suburban white neighborhoods to city schools to facilitate the non-white students’ access to the white suburban schools. Also, it would be reasonable to assume that the Left would eventually include private schools in any plan to (in their warped minds) properly desegregate America’s schools. They may well attempt to use the school desegregation argument as another reason to support the building of high-speed train systems throughout the country. Instead of forced busing, will it be forced train transport? Until construction is complete on the high-speed train lines, maybe the Left can get Fed Ex involved – their shipping rates are very competitive.

The Left will need to hire plenty of writers to write more, and more opinions like this Times article. As America gets more diverse (less white), the number of students “left behind” will grow, as will the need for more “journalists” to write stories blaming the problem on white people.

Every time liberals complain about schools they eventually come up with some new plan to raise test scores, or make schools “better”. It always means more tax money is going to be wasted.

Both Social Security and Medicare are matters of law. For example, the courts have definitively ruled that no one is entitled to a particular level of SS benefits, or any benefits at all, no matter how much money was paid in. It’s just a tax, and the revenue from this tax is distributed per current law. Benefits too high? Revenue too low? Just change the law.

And tell me again exactly why a majority minority (!) working population would want to tax themselves in order to pay hefty SS and Medicare benefits to relatively better off retired white people? When they could just elect people who would change the law.

Not to mention the fact that Hispanics, who will obviously be, by far, the largest non-white group, are 1) significantly more criminal, and 2) huge academic underachievers. The HS graduation rate in the LAUSD is about 50%. They will never be able to create enough wealth to provide baby boomer retirees with SS and Medicare benefits.
